ISA-LEON Tour
It is a tour towards Dipkarpaz with approx. 55 km. Kumyali-Gelincik-Kaleburnu-Sipahi-Yeni Erenköy-Yesilköy-Ziyamet-Kumyali: The first part is almost free of traffic, slightly mountainous with wonderful panoramas. It is the old road towards Dipkarpaz. Some sights such as „Panaghia Kanakaria Monastery“ (it is currently being officially restored), olive fields, always the sea in sight. In Kaleburnu there are several moderately difficult climbs to the other side. From Sipahi short village roads, then new roads via Yeni Erenköy, Yesilköy back.
iIsabella (a German triathlete) rode the tour with me in 2025. And I accompanied Leon (a German ultra-cyclist) for part of it in 2026. Look at Instagram:

Actually, I've never felt as good at the end of a challenge as I did after circumnavigating Cyprus, which made me very happy. That was only the first ultra-endurance adventure of 2026. 🤞🏻

The first part of the route is far from main roads. Büyükkonuk is known for the Büyükkonuk EKO Festival. You can pick up some snacks at the supermarket on the way back.
